ABOUT DANIEL
DANIEL PRIMER
Daniel Primer’s personal experiences as a family caregiver inspired his transition to senior care. For over a decade, he has been actively caring for his 98-year-old aunt, gaining firsthand insight into the critical role of care communities. His fraternal twin brother’s early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis and Daniel’s subsequent caregiving responsibilities further solidified his desire to contribute meaningfully to the lives of seniors and their families.
Daniel brings a unique blend of professional skills and personal experience to Gently Guided. His distinguished career includes over two decades in Medical and Health Care Media as a producer, director, and writer, earning recognition that includes an Emmy Award for his work on CBS Television’s The Doctors and three Telly Awards for projects featuring former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop and the TIME/LIFE Medical video series.
Daniel transitioned to sales four years ago, following his volunteer work at COVID test sites with Curative Inc. This pivotal experience led him to embrace a new professional path, where he excelled, advancing through four promotions to become the Director of Growth and Expansion for one of the nation’s largest COVID testing companies. In this role, Daniel drove substantial sales across multiple states.
California RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) certified, Daniel possesses unique regulatory knowledge to support families navigating senior living options. This certification, his deep understanding of healthcare terminology and trends, and his personal experience as a family caregiver make him an ideal advisor for families seeking a compassionate and well-informed guide through the complexities of senior living options.
Daniel joins Lisa Bricker and the Gently Guided team to expand Gently Guided’s concierge-level service and placement expertise to the Westside and Valley. With this role, his journey has come full circle, combining his strategic leadership, healthcare insights, and deep empathy to guide families through the process of moving a loved one into an appropriate senior living community and find peace of mind.
