JASA SCHUMACHER
Jasa Schumacher brings empathy, extensive experience in relationship and partnership development, and a genuine appreciation for working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds to her role as Family Liaison at Gently Guided.
After earning a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Jasa spent 20 years in production and sales roles for active and outdoor lifestyle magazines, including Backpacking, Skiing, Climbing, and National Parks. She later transitioned into nonprofit fundraising, spending five years in development at Can Do MS, a nonprofit dedicated to providing educational and support resources for individuals with multiple sclerosis and their families.
Jasa’s experience as the family caregiver for her mother with Alzheimer’s provides her valuable insight into the challenges families face, shaping her compassionate and informed approach to her work at Gently Guided. Jasa is in the process of becoming a registered nurse, which will complement her passion for gerontology.
